About me
I'm Dean, a freelance marketing professional from Liverpool. I work with businesses that require marketing support and/or guidance.
Before starting to offer freelance services, I worked for 5 years in marketing across a range of industries, including tech, food, real estate, and beyond. You can view my experience by visiting my LinkedIn profile for more information.
I hold an MSc in Digital Marketing from Liverpool John Moores University, which I pursued after completing a BA (Hons) in Business Management from the same institution. During my studies, I was fortunate enough to gain my first marketing experience through an internship with a reputable marketing and PR firm in Liverpool.
My first paid marketing experience came while writing my dissertation for my master's degree. I was offered the role of Junior Digital Marketing Executive with a company in Chester in the F&B industry. Unfortunately, due to COVID, I was made redundant from that position a year later.
Despite the setback, I became more resilient. I fell on my feet when I was soon offered a role with a marketing agency based in Liverpool City Centre. This is where I developed into the marketer that I am today.
With a few more years of experience, I am confident in offering my services to businesses that need support with their marketing activities.
